ESG stands for Environmental, Social and Governance and refers to the three central factors in measuring the sustainability of an investment. The Firm supports our clients’ process of incorporating sustainability factors and risks across their various areas of operation. This work takes shape in the definition of companies’ internal policies, so that they may comply with the recommendations of national and European authorities, as well as with best practices on public disclosure in relation to sustainability criteria.

The Firm’s professionals offer assistance in the process of selecting commercial partners in order to identify the characteristics of target companies from a sustainability perspective.

The Firm also follows the evolution of European rules on sustainability reporting and value chain due diligence, assisting companies in preventing the risks — including criminal risks — connected with untruthful sustainability claims (so-called greenwashing) and in vetting commercial partners.
