Professional experience

She began working with the Firm in 2023.

She provides cross-cutting assistance in white-collar criminal law, from preventive advice to defence in court.

Thanks to the in-depth work carried out in her professional practice, she has developed particular expertise in environmental criminal law — also as a result of her doctoral studies devoted to environmental offences — as well as in tax, insolvency and public administration criminal law and in occupational health and safety.

In parallel, she has gained experience in handling complex international matters of criminal law relevance, with particular reference to extradition proceedings, requests for access to and correction of personal data and requests for the removal of Interpol Notices before the Commission for the Control of Interpol’s Files (CCF), thereby developing significant expertise in human rights protection.

She also drafts and updates organisational models pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 231/2001 and advises on compliance matters, working with the Supervisory Bodies of leading companies.

Academic and teaching activity

She speaks at conferences and seminars on a wide range of white-collar criminal law topics and is the author of publications in textbooks, treatises, collections of essays and specialist journals.

She lectures in criminal law and criminal procedure at Lexademy — Accademia del diritto, within the mandatory Bar training school.

She has taken part in conferences and research groups in the field of criminal law.

She is a member of the Standing Committee of Lawyers and In-House Counsel established by Pro Bono Italia.

She was a member of the Working Group on Environmental Restorative Justice of the European Forum for Restorative Justice for the 2023-2024 term.

Education

She graduated in Law from the University of Milan in 2019, with top marks and honours, discussing a thesis on the suspension of proceedings with probation and restorative justice.

In June 2023 she obtained a PhD in Law and Human Sciences — Criminal Law curriculumcum laude from the University of Insubria, with a thesis entitled “Paradigmi dell’effettività e tecniche di incriminazione: il banco di prova dei reati ambientali” (Paradigms of effectiveness and techniques of criminalisation: the testing ground of environmental offences). During her doctoral studies, she carried out a research period at the Instituto de Derecho Penal Europeo e Internacional of the Universidad de Castilla — La Mancha.

Bar admission

She has been admitted to practise as a lawyer in Italy since 2022 and is a member of the Milan Bar Association.
